What was presented as a sneak peek of the Teams functionality to manage employee leave requests during the Microsoft Business Applications Summit at the beginning of May is now publicly available. It is possible to test out the functionality on sandbox and trial environments to get a feel for how it works.

What can it do?

The integration of the Human Resources App in Microsoft Teams allows employees to quickly, and easily request time off and see their balance in one overview. A bot interacts with individual employees to give them any information they need. In the new “time-off” tab, employees can view their leave and absence data in greater detail.
