Meet the Specialist: Britt van de Weerd

Who is Britt van de Weerd?

I’m a proud mom of 2 daughters and I live in Ulft, a small town in the east of The Netherlands. I love being outdoors, spending time with my family and friends. I’m passionate about singing and playing my instrument (the oboe). You can wake me up for good sushi!

During my Facility Management studies I lived in different cities abroad (such as Sydney) and discovered that an international environment with different kind of cultures inspires me.

I have worked in different kinds of roles and sectors. I started in the food industry, where I was responsible for the complete supply chain from raw materials to an actual product being shipped globally.

The supply chain sparked my interest, so I moved to a global transport & logistics company, where I first became a team leader and then transitioned to a trainer role. My responsibilities for the European market were developing and providing training (culture / communication / leadership / software training), leading projects (implementing ATS and LMS), organizing & attending events and career fairs, take care of recruitment and guard the company’s culture.

What is your job at FourVision?

As a Learning & Development Manager, I focus on setting up our FourVision Academy where we can get training and share our knowledge, track and maintain our business and personal needs.

Together with the teams, I develop our training content where I keep in mind all kinesthetic learning methods. I believe that a person is never too old (or too young) to learn!

I’m bringing a bunch of experience in people and systems training, a listening ear, a lot of curiosity & questions, and a good dose of humor!

Why FourVision?

FourVision is a rapidly growing company with committed and highly skilled people. The company is known for its professional well-developed products and services. Our market is always changing and innovating, so it’s a great opportunity for me to be a part of this company.

I love building things from scratch, so setting up the FourVision Academy is my biggest challenge. I receive full support and enjoy working with my dedicated colleagues!
