Personal background
Stephan grew up in South Africa’s biggest city, Johannesburg. About six years ago, he moved to London to work for NGA Human Resources. In South Africa, Stephan obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Pretoria, approximately 50 kilometers from his hometown.
In Stephan’s free time, he likes to explore new landscapes such as villages and cities and walk with his dog. Besides exploring landscapes, he enjoys eating out as much as possible as he is not a very good cook.
Professional background
Before Stephan started working at FourVision, he worked at several companies as a consultant in the world of Microsoft Dynamics. Stephan started his career working in HR and progressed from generalist to HR Manager. He then focused on payroll management, which lead to consulting on payroll implementations at Sage in South Africa.
In 2015, Stephan moved to the UK to work as an Application Consultant for NGA Human Resources. In 2018 an opportunity arose where he took on a consulting role in the HR/Dynamics space, where he’s been ever since.
Stephan especially likes the role of consultant as it offers a lot of variation and client interaction. Working with colleagues and customers from diverse backgrounds, both professional and cultural, is exciting and challenging. In addition to his current and previous positions, Stephan always finds room for self-development and learning more about his field of work.
Position at FourVision
At FourVision, Stephan is an implementation consultant for our Web Apps and Microsoft Dynamics 365, focusing mainly on integrations for Payroll interfaces.
Stephan has many years of experience across different industries and has worked on many implementation projects, which adds value to his understanding of multi-country implementation projects. Besides that, having worked in both client roles and consulting roles allow Stephan to better understand business processes and client requirements.
Finally, Stephan is passionate about continuing the job he loves, consulting, working with people from diverse cultures and always learning more.
