Personal life

Parag was born in India and lives in the Netherlands. His hobbies include cooking, watching movies and playing soccer and badminton. Before he moved to the Netherlands, Parag lived in other places in Europe and Australia. He especially enjoyed his time in Australia. “Of all the places I have been, I enjoy Australia the most. Not because of the weather, but because of the beautiful beaches, theme parks and big shopping malls. I miss that in Europe”.

Professional career

Parag works as a Senior Developer at FourVision. His work includes developing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources, Finance & Operations, Power BI, Power Platform and Logic Apps. Parag found FourVision via LinkedIn. One of the main reasons to apply for a job, was the fact that Parag is able to work from home when he wants to. This flexible working fits Parag well. Other reasons for Parag to join FourVision, is the multiple technology development, a good exposure in the market, and the company culture. Parag would describe the FourVision culture as flexible and eager to learn.

The best thing about Parag’s function is that he enjoys the challenges and the learning exposure that come with the job. The most challenging about his function, is that Parag has to find a balance with a variety of people, such as customers, consultants and the support department. Parag keeps on being amazed by the impact of a small line of code. “A silly mistake such as a blank space too much can ruin the entire customer environment”.

In a typical work week, one of the biggest tasks is to schedule a task based on priorities for the week then check again in the middle of the week about the progress and take the suggestion from the management if there are any blockers in the process. These tasks include developing and resolving other technical issues.

Parag has been working for over two years at FourVision and hopes to grow with the company.
